Chinchillas tend to nibble on everything in site, it’s just how they test things. When I lay on the floor while my chins are out, they’ll nibble on my ears, hair, clothes, toes, just about everywhere! There could also be something on your hands that smells tasty to them (were you handling any of their favorite treats?). I doubt she’s doing it to be mean, but it could also be possible that she just doesn’t want you in her space and this is her way of trying to get you out.
Did u wash ur hands? there may have been the smell of food on it.
Do you feed her, maybe she thinks you’ll make a pair of gloves out of her.
