What was your experience with nueturing a chinchilla?
How old was he? did he act the same afterwards? Was he okay? I am planning on nueturing my male chinchilla, and I need to know how it went.
I do have a female also, and I am going to nueture them, so they can go into the same cage without having to deal with the babies.

We have had two chinchillas neutered. Both were about two years old. They went through the surgery fine and there was nothing wrong. I don’t advise neutering a chinchilla, though, unless there is a good reason such as he is getting a female companion. If that’s not the case then it’s pointless to neuter him as there are no personality changes normally.
