Kittens need to be with their mothers to at least 8 weeks of age. Any reputable breeder or animal shelter will not sell/adopt any kittens under that age. Many will still wait until the kitten is around 12 weeks of age before letting them be bought or adopted.
8 weeks
10 weeks would be best.
12 weeks is the youngest a breeder will let you take a kitten.
No earlier than 8 weeks. You will have less chances of medical and psychological issues.
The ideal age to adopt any kitten is no sooner then 10-12 weeks old. If you are buying a purebred cat from a reputable breeder, they will not release them till 3-4 months old when they have all shots and are neutered/spayed before you get the ktiten.
Be sure to get your kitten neutered/spayed by 3-4 months old and don’t wait till later.
All kittens need to be with their mother no less than 8 weeks or a little longer.
Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
