What does it mean when a chinchilla vibrates only his head?
I know that when a chinchilla vibrates he’s happy, but sometimes when I’ll holding and looking at him, he shakes his head in a "no" manner, ya know side to side. What does it mean? He does it frequently so i don’t know if he’s happy or sad or something else.

mine does that sometimes, it just means it’s a bit nervous or shaken up. I just pet my chinchilla’s head softly until he calms down. maybe you could try that see if it works.
