What kind of bugs can live on a chinchilla?

My friend has a chinchilla and he’s noticed some sort of "flea" around the tail area. He’s not sure what it is and I’ve told him that fleas cannot live in their fur, but he thinks they might be able to live on the tail since the hair is a lot thinner. Is this true? If not, what kind of bug might be crawling around?
Could they be chiggers?
Also, how could he get rid of the bug?
He says they look dark, like fleas.

Whenever I try to reach into the cage and pet my chinchilla, she always goes after my fingers and tries to bite me. It isnt exactly a bite, but stronger than a nibble. It’s like she wants to eat them off or something…

I got a young male chinchilla from a pet shop and they didn’t know if it has been neutered or not. How can I figured out if it has been or not? And if it hasn’t, should I get it neutered or not worry about it? Which is better for their health? Is their any difference in aggression if you get them neutered or not?

like a golden color the tips of its fur is gold the bottom part is white it looks like gold not yellow or anything like that. What kind of chinchilla is this i’ve never seen this or heard of this chinchilla before but it looks really cool.

How old was he? did he act the same afterwards? Was he okay? I am planning on nueturing my male chinchilla, and I need to know how it went.
I do have a female also, and I am going to nueture them, so they can go into the same cage without having to deal with the babies.
