Kitten Adoption!?
Kitten Adoption!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…
I’ve asked this question before, but none of the answers have ever seemed to help me. My mom doesn’t want me to have a kitten, but I think that she may say it is OK if I pay for it myself. I would be adopting so that might make my Mom happier. I need ways to make money, but NO lemonade stands, I am too old for that. I also would like to have the cost of the adoption, supplies, food, and toys. I am thinking that once I get the money, I will ask my mom. Please help me. I have wanted a cat ever since I was a little girl, but have never gotten one. This may be my chance to get a little kitten. Should I get a kitten or a young cat, because I want to know what is best for a beginner. Thanks!I know that my mom would help with the vet bills. I can afford to get food and other things. I am not very young. I KNOW I can take care of a cat or kitten. I’m not stupid, I would never do anything that my mom wouldn’t a
Well Percy, I have a few things I would like to say to you. I have 2 guinea pigs. One that happens to be mine. I take care of it, I am not some child that would get bored of it. People make me mad when they think that since I’m a child that it means that I’m not responsible. Get a life! I happen to be able to get money, I get an allowance, I mow the lawn, and I do the chores around my house. I get a decent amount of money. I may not be able to afford the vet bills, but I can afford everything else. I would NEVER make my mom do anything she doesn’t want to do. My mom and I have a very close relationship, so saying that I am not responsible makes me very mad. I don’t care if YOU don’t think I can’t take care of a cat. YOU don’t know me. I happen to be in the top of my class and am very intelligent. Don’t assum things about a person if you don’t know it’s true!

Haha, ya I know what you mean…I’m guessing I’m around your age…13…lol!
Well, you could do dog walking, or babysitting though that depends on your neighborhood. If your younger than 15, it will be hard to get a job at a store unless you know the owner.
Try your parents…ask for jobs like triming stuff, gardening, washing the car…stuff like that.
To show your mom your responsable, and to decide between cat and kitten, you could try fostering a pregnant cat.
If your interested here’s a site about it:
http://www.fluffytails.ca/foster.asp
You can also take your mom to a shelter just to visit the cats and kittens.
Good luck and I hope your aloud!
Remember to spay him/her!

Your mother is the adult in the house.
Your mother pays the rent or mortgage.
Your mother would pay to feed the cat.
Your mother would pay for litter.
Your mother would pay for all the vet bills.
Your mother will ultimately end up taking care of this cat once you grow bored of it – VERY common when kids get pets.
Sorry – but this means it’s your MOTHER’S decision whether you get a cat or not. And she’s already said "No." If you’re not old another to get a job then you’re not old enough to have a regular income to support caring for this cat. Wait till you’re older and out on your own and have a job.
Sell your things at a yard sale. Barbies can fetch $1 each and board games can get $2-3. Any outdoor game adds, as do computer games or consoles.
If your mum sees you sacrificing your possesions then she may be more willing.
At the end of the day, your mums word goes, 10 years is nothing, and at 24, I have a bucketful of pets, including 2 gorgeous kittys. In the end, you will get your kittens!!
