i just got a himalayan kitten we got it home and its mouth is crooked?
its weird i didnt notice when we were at the place we bought it from but now that its home i looked close and its crooked and the lower jaw is sticking out and its teeth are like growing into the jaw, and its teeth have gone crooked, has anyone had this happen if so what did you have to do for the cat?

Sounds like your kitty has an under bite. Not too uncommon for himalayan kitties. Did you get the kitty from a breeder or a pet store? You will definitely need to take the kitty to the vet. There isnt much they can do to fix the under bite but they can fix the ingrown teeth. I would have the kitty looked at and determine if it is something you are willing to deal with. Hope that helps!
Your kitten may have had a broken jaw or a genetic birth defect. I would contact the breeder.
I guess that’s why they say you should never buy a cat from a breeder. There are so many millions of homeless cats that need to be adopted.
If you got this cat from a breeder, phone the breeder.
Can the cat close his mouth properly? Has the vet looked at it? Is this damage that the kitten had done to him?
my himalayan has an underbite…his bottom (fangs) teeth come up over his mouth. he doesn’t seem to have any problems because of this.
