Do a I get a female or male Himalayan kitten?
I am going to get a Himalayan kitten…and I cant decide between the boy or the girl. I have had one boy Himmie, practically my whole life, and he just passed away, now I want another one, because I love their personality, but I cant decide between the boy or the girl. I went to see both of them, and I thought I wanted a boy, but the boy I wanted was super shy, scared (but in a room/area they had never been in). The girl was scared too, but she opened up and was more adventourous after the 1st hour…I dont know…HELP!

Well I own a male and a female. From what I have found the females are more moody and the males are more affectionate. I would prefer a male myself but maybe get one of both. That would be great! They are great cats.
Can you get both? I’m not sure what I’d do. I’d probably take the boy because of him being super shy; I’d be determined to break him out of his shell. Play with him & give him lots of love & attention so he’d be my buddy
I LOVE Himalayans, though I have numerous cats I don’t own one. My friend used to breed them, and I always preferred the males, even with my own cats. And the Himmies, the males will usually be larger. They are a very laid back cat, good luck, I know you’ll love either one.
