Some vets give it away at 4 weeks. I would wait till hes weaned off the bottle and can use the litter box on his own

The recommended age is 8 weeks. Pure breed breeders normally would not release the kitten until she reaches 10-12 weeks.

The best is about 6-8 weeks or when they start eating solids. I rescued my cat when she was about 2 weeks and fed her canned cats milk I bought at the store. I wouldnt recommend anything younger than that. Kittens need to nurse and get help from their mothers with their bowel movements and so on. If all else fails, call a vet. They'll give you advice over the phone.

As long as it's weaned (eating kitten food which it needs for the first 6 months or so) and is at least six weeks old. The longer it stays with the mother and litter mates and as around humans, the more socialized it will be. Six weeks is the minimum. eight weeks better, 12 weeks ideal
