Himalayan Persian Kittens Archives

I am going to get a Himalayan kitten…and I cant decide between the boy or the girl. I have had one boy Himmie, practically my whole life, and he just passed away, now I want another one, because I love their personality, but I cant decide between the boy or the girl. I went to see both of them, and I thought I wanted a boy, but the boy I wanted was super shy, scared (but in a room/area they had never been in). The girl was scared too, but she opened up and was more adventourous after the 1st hour…I dont know…HELP!

I just got a himalayan 2 weeks back. He isvery playful and adorable. But I just dont know how to give him the bath. Do i just need to clean him with a wet towel or is it safe to pour dirct water from the shower?

I want to know where I can find a teacup Himalayan kitten like this one:

I realize that one is sick or whatever, but are there any breeders that breed healthy ones?

Does any one know any other kinds of kitten food that would be better thanks

I’ve been wanting to buy a cat forerer and Im not sure where to buy them. I really want a himalayan kitten, but I dont know where to buy them. Is there any place that sells them in Honolulu, Hawaii?

My himalayan kitten is 12 weeks old and has only been dewormed. A male kitten and I want to take him to a vet but want to know more but dont know what I should get done or how much it will cost. I am in Canada/Mississauga also calling around.

I am buying a Himalayan kitten in the near future and my breeder offers a PKD certificate for 0 extra on top of the price of the kitten. Is that a good deal? Would it be a big risk to not get the test done?

If you are wondering about the discrepancies in the costs, let me explain it to you. When breeding Persian kittens, the breeder has to invest a lot of money to ensure that his or her breeding campaign is successful. Vaccinations and veterinary checkups, food and litter, housing and grooming, all go into the successful breeding of quality Persian kittens. You stand a better chance of getting a healthy kitten if you get one from a responsible breeder.

Another point which dictates the price of a Persian kitten is the appearance of the kitten. If you want a show quality kitten, you will have to go for a pedigree kitten which has specific characteristics. This increases the price of the kitten. On the other hand, if you want a kitten which does not necessarily have the show characteristics, you may be able to get one for less. This type of kitten is preferable if you simply want a companion and are not interested in showing your pet.

When getting a Persian kitten, you need to consider all above mentioned points. Once you have decided which kitten you want, you can visit breeders and get your own Persian kitten to keep you company.
