Can a 6 year old Female chinchilla live with a baby female chinchilla?
I have had my chinchilla, Blessing, for about 6 years and I really want to get her a friend, but I want to get a baby female chinchilla. Will they get along and be able to live together?

They might, they might not. It depends on the individuals. If they don’t get along, are you willing to house them separately for the rest of their lives? Females in general tend to be more territorial, so if yours has lived alone all her life, she may not appreciate a little "intruder".
it’s possible, but it’s up to them. if both chins are friendly then they should be fine if you introduce them gradually, but that’s not a guarantee. it all depends on them and if their personalities click and how territorial they are. if your chin is very territorial, then she could end up hurting the younger one. i would try it, but i would strictly make it a trial basis. try to talk to your breeder or whoever you plan on getting the baby chin from and see if you can get one, and if it doesn’t work out between your chin and the new one, see if you can return it(but make sure that the person who is selling you the chin agrees to take the chin and return your money if it doesn’t work out). good luck!
It reallly depends on the type of chinchilla you have. i have two and they are both male. they get along great. and they are about the same age, there is a one year difference. Anyway, i think you should just get a female about the same age. or you could get a male then you will have a lot of babiess.!:)
i hope this helps.!

Yes they will. Make sure that they meet eachother outside of the cage. Make sure the cage is big enough for 2 adult chinchillas. Lastly, make sure that you clean the cage before putting them in. Also, put the new one in first.
